film poster ideas

For my film poster i want the production company at the top with the main image dominating and drawing the eye in the middle, as well as the title at the bottom of the image, with the information productions actors cast crew at the very bottom. A classic layout but effective and follows the conventions of a film poster.

Looking at the design i was thinking of having a house in a mysterious sinister lighting introducing location but also revealing a slight narrative. For lighting i found this image of the exorcist which drew me in but also made me instantly think of narrative him entering the house and developing him as a character facing the darkness this is something i want to provoke as a director therefore if i can conjure emotions in the poster it would be an ideal build up to my film.
